Maples Collegiate Wind Ensemble - Musical Tribute

On May 27, 2020 at 7:00pm, The Maples Collegiate Wind Ensemble and Maples Alumni students performed a musical tribute for the frontline workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic. Just over 45 students were spaced 10 feet apart across the front of Maples Collegiate for the performance. This event was the first time the ensemble was able to perform together since the school shutdown due to COVID-19. The members of the wind ensemble practised for this performance while in isolation in hopes of being able to come together as a group. The wind ensemble performed "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland.
